Now, multiverses could be the worst secret kept in the games. The fighting game inspired by Smash Bros. Apparently will see several icons of Warner Bros., which cover franchises such as Looney Tunes, DC and the Lord of the Rings. WB Games has yet to confirm rumors, but several official Twitter accounts may have begun to insinuate the project tonight. The Official Beads of Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry tagged the editor on tweets with strangely missing characters. In the case of Looney Tunes, Bugs Bunny has been replaced by a white dotted contour in an image with Daffy, while Tom and Jerry are also missing in an image with Spike.
The Tweet of the Looney Tunes Twitter account can be found in embedded then while the Tom & Jerry Tweet can be found right here.
It is worth noting that Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry played on a possible game list that was filtered last month. Other playable characters will supposedly include Batman, Harley Quinn, Gandalf, Rick & Morty and more. At this time, it does not look like any other Twitter official account, since the rest of the filtered characters have shared similar progress. However, these two are likely to be the first of many, who will become an official revelation in the near future. As such, the fanatics of these properties will want to keep their eyes wide open!
The Super Smash Bros. franchise has been a great success for Nintendo for more than 20 years, but the series has seen few imitators. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and togas Ninja Teen Mutants: Smash-Up are two older examples, while last month saw the launch of NICKELODEON ALL-STAR BRAWL. None of these games has managed to find a fraction of Super Smash Bros., but Warner Bros. has a solid group of characters, and rumors suggest that Nether realm Studios is handling the development of the game! That could be a recipe for a winning formula, but for now we will only have to wait and see!
