You never know when the cool idea comes, says director Hugo Martin.
As a continuation of one of the best modern ego shooter and one that looks like it would be bigger and better in every way. Doom Ewig is undoubtedly one of the hottest expected upcoming publications. But while we all dizzy wait for the upcoming start, it seems like developers id software already look into the future.
Recently in an interview with Joe Rogan (transcribed by VGC), doom EWIG director Hugo Martin said that the developers already think about what will come next for the series after the upcoming publication. Although he has obviously stopped mentioning the next game in the series ( I can not say that, he said), he said that ID software already has many ideas for the future Nower content. Of course, this also includes DLC for doom EWIG .
We re going on ... I do not want to say the next - that s an PR answer because I can not say that - but we certainly have ideas and DLC [for doom Ewig ], he said. Surely we always pursue things twice and are always talking because you never know when the cool idea will come and you [always] make notes. We keep these conversations on the side and see how it works.
You can see the full interview below.
Doom EWIG is available on 20 March for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. In Stadia, it will not support a real 4K (contrary to earlier promises). That is, it is trying to achieve new technical heights on the PC - look at the system requirements here. In the meantime, prepare for the upcoming publication with the new Launch Trailer.
